The Fed/State EFTPS pilot program to pay both your Illinois withholding and federal taxes is being discontinued.  Current users of the program will be able to schedule Illinois payments up to June 30, 2009.  After that date the Fed/State functionality of the system will cease operation.  Federal tax payments will be unaffected and can still be made using the EFTPS system.

The Illinois Department of Revenue encourages new and existing taxpayers to file and/or pay their Illinois withholding tax electronically using either the WebFile, TaxNet, FSET, or EFT programs.
